Hi all, just would like to inform you about an Afghan movie that hopefully you will all watch. It is showing in Toronto, Canada so please bring out your family and friends to watch this movie if you live in the vicinity of the theaters. It was written and directed by the late Jawed Wassel who was killed in New York shortly after completion of the movie. Adding to the list, the movie was Afghanistan's first entry to the Academy Awards (Oscars) in 2002, and was a in-competition selection at the 2003 Tribeca Film Festival. A short synposis is included below and as well as the poster for Toronto's showing. I hope no rules of forum are broken but if you wish to get more information you can click my Website URL icon or go to firedancerthemovie.com for trailers, a gallery of photos, and more information about the movie including plenty about the many awards the movie has been nominated for or won.
